Early Preview of Online Project Management Software: ZilicusPM 8.0, the Newest Version

Zilicus, cloud based solution collaboration provider of the best online project management software – ZilicusPM, will be releasing new and enhanced version ZilicusPM 8.0.

I am happy to share a preview of ZilicusPM 8.0 here. This version of ZilicusPM, enables you to track projects, tasks and other aspects of projects the way you wish to. This can be achieved with custom reports.

1.    Create Your Own Report

ZilicusPM, the project management software now enables you to design your own report be it about projects, tasks, issues, risks or expenses. Let’s take a look at how you can create these report and what information can you organize through these report.

Step-1: Select your data-source i.e. the primary element of the report around which you would like to view information. The data source currently available are project, task, issue, risk, expense.

Step-2: Select column of the reports that you would like to view in the report.

You can also have aggregate (sum) operation for certain columns (like budget, estimated cost, etc).

Step-3: Select column of the reports that you would like to sort on, group by and have filters on.

You can view these custom reports in the group of ‘Custom Reports’ and mark any of these reports as ‘Favorite’.

2.    Upload Documents type as URL (Link)

ZilicusPM 8.0 allows user to upload documents as link and create versions of such document. Some of our customer wish to store these documents on their internal storage (LAN) and have a link pointing to it through ZilicusPM project document store.

3.    After session timed-out, same-screen login

The latest version of ZilicusPM has been improved such that once user session is timed-out, instead of signing a user completely out of ZilicusPM application, it will keep user on the same page and ask to re-login with a pop-up thus keeping a user on the same screen.
