What is Zilicus

So many people we have met: in person and virtually, almost every has asked us – What does Zilicus stand for? What is the meaning of Zilicus? How did you get this name? and so on…

Well, there is a incident how we have got this name, most importantly, the name is aligned with the vision we have – i.e. Zilicus is a technology company that offer ‘Software-As-A-Service’ based collaborative solutions and we aim to

Empower users to make precise business decision through Access, Collaboration and Knowledge.

We have been giving million < billion < zillions of thoughts while building these solutions for users so that these solutions will be collaborative, intuitive- high on usability & usefulness and highly secure. (clue … clue!!)

So we got a name “ Z I L I C U S ” that is

1. Simple

2. Unambiguous to type

3. Easy to remember

4. It can be pronounced with the combination of teeth, tongue and soft palate along with stomachs muscles

5. The domain was available 🙂

ohh, I didn’t tell you – what was the incident, how we got this name ‘Zilicus’. And there is lot more that Zilicus Logo represents & shares. I will have a follow up blog post some other time, to cover these.
